In the early years of GAP Auto, Bill’s dream was to provide food and a home for his wife and young family. Starting with an auto parts wholesaler from Montreal, Bill was able to buy $5,000 worth of parts and set out looking for customers in an old milk delivery truck. Before long, there were several easily identifiable “GAP Vans” servicing over 500 customers in Atlantic Canada. With determination and a vision, Bill created a brand and products that today can be found from coast to coast.
Throughout the 1990’s, Bill steadily grew GAP Auto – from his home garage to a small warehouse nearby, to a large warehouse in Keswick, NB. With GAP Auto becoming one of Canada’s largest Wynn’s distributors and building its own manufacturing plant, it didn’t take long for GAP to expand its footprint.
